YAY!

I'm trying to make this as chronological as I can. XD - Rita II/Nini

Today was our first Taiko gig outside of school! Wee~ We performed for Harvy Mill Elementary School (I think) in San Francisco, around five minutes from Twin Peaks.

It was really awesome. It was hard to get everyone there--teacher was stressing out, students were kind of late, etc. Or something. Hahha.

We took buses and I rode with Ms. Sen to the school with two of the drums. Rawr. And OMG! Ms. Sen's . . . teacher's . . . truck had the rest of the drums and !!! One of the little babies almost fell off the truck!! Well, it was held nicely by those things . . . I'll post a picture of it later. I'm lazy and tired. I don't know, it was interesting. Ms. Sen looked really small when she climbed on top of the truck, trying to fix the drum. Hehehe, poor baby! <3

Anyway, the rest of the trip there was fine and it was only five minutes or so; not that far. =]
We unloaded and also met Natasha's mommy and the principal. XD Hm.

Many things went on, I don't really want to be descriptive as I usually am because I am super lazy and very concious......or however you spell that word. XD; Well, everyone arrived (after many phone calls to everyone to make sure they are coming and where they are and blah blah blah~!) and we had pizza! It was satisfying. :3 Hm.

Well, we practiced. HAHAHHAA! Since the fifth graders were still eating their lunch (with the scary ladee shouting randomly ><''') we had to play quietly-- with our HANDS! YAY! It sounded really nice! I don't know, I kept laughing. I really REALLY liked. =] It really sounded nice. ^///^. I couldn't ask Dondeck to record it because because my digital camera had no space for recording videos~!   Yes, very very depressing on my part. Anywho.
We practiced ... >_<;; But we didn't get to practice Hiriyu (sp). Ohhh, the fun.

Hm, what else.

Well, we eventually starting playing for the little ones. OMG. They're so cute. "I LOVE YOU!" Luis: "I LOVE YOU TOO!" ><'' SO ADORABLE. ARG! XD

They were so supportive! So loud and so cute! It was amazing to here them exclaiming and screaming for us. It was so beautiful. <3
It felt like we were professionals! MWAHHAHA! XD <3

Hm. Dondeck was there to record it. XD

We played: Matsuri Daiko, "V" Formation/Tsunami, Hiriyu.
WOW.

I don't know.

I'm getting super lazy. Maybe I'll update this later.
